I'm pleased with both the expertise of this shop as well as their clear and generous communication. It was a pleasure to talk with them - clearly they focus on customer relationships rather than transactions and they freely provide information. Critically, for me, they have experience with and work on all German diesel cars. The overwhelming majority of shops in this area do not touch diesels, but J&F priced and treated this like any other maintenance operation. From what I can see, they properly and professionally replaced the timing belt on my VW. They took sufficient care to notice and replace a defective motor mount. As a somewhat particular engineer, I'm pleased.

Came here with my 2018 Mini Countryman which needed an engine mount replacement. They quoted me the same general price as the dealership but promised not to add on anything that wasn’t necessary. They diagnosed another problem that was causing the car interior to be very noisy, and gave me an honest estimate before I approved the work. When parts were delayed they communicated with me and let me know, offering to contact Enterprise for a rental car because it was taking longer than anticipated. While the work cost me a lot of money, it was a fair price for both parts and labor. Would recommend and I will certainly use them again.

J&F combines great technical expertise and skill with BMWs with a friendly and fair service environment. It’s the best auto repair shop I’ve ever been to.

Said he would not work on my car because our Volvo is a pre 96'... 95's are the SAME as a 96-2000. Then condescendingly said wish you the best.. LMAO. Ok GUY.

I never write reviews. J and F took care of my 2013 Volvo with professionalism and compassion. Greg researched options when my catalytic converter failed and replacing it was going to be VERY expensive. Was it worth it to repair a car for 10,000 dollars (tires, oil, pulley, A/C belt, O2 sensors, cabin filters were already being done when we realized the CC was bad.) It’s only worth 8,000 bucks and most garages would have said no. But this car has been maintained by J and F and it’s a great car, so I went ahead and did it and now it drives like new. Furthermore, the first CC VOlvo sent was no good which they only found out because Greg tested it carefully. They didn’t charge labor to redo the CC and they were in the hole for the cost of the first one until Volvo reimburses, which we certainly hope they will! J and F aren’t just mechanics. They’re family.
