I took on ownership of a 1988 BMW M6 E24 over 10 years ago and entrusted the J&F team with its mechanical restoration. Through many projects, from major projects like removing the self-leveling system to minor fixes and replacing virtually all of the 30-year old hoses, gaskets, etc. the J&F team were creative, transparent and honest. Next, they are truly mechanical wizards...they know their stuff, which made diagnosis and repairs faster and much more durable. Finally, they seemed to be able to source hard to find parts and always provided me with a prioritized list of needed repairs so that I could plan for them over time. So I would highly recommend J&F for all things BMW (I can’t speak to other makes!) Services: Oil change, Transmission repair, Battery, Transmission, Air conditioning, Brakes

These guys are great! They know BMWs inside and out and have always been really efficient in diagnosing and remediating problems. They are also great for advice on long-term on service and giving you a range of options. Strong recommend!

FIVE STARS! I started using these guys after I received a $600 oil change bill from Porsche. I know right?? $600!!! Anyways, the interaction with them was top notch and I am very impressed with Charlie and everyone that I have interacted with there...even the dog. Just recently I had some leaking showing up on the passenger side. They took all day to test it out and couldn’t find anything. Charlie said, ‘I wish I could sell you something, but we didn’t find anything’. They didn’t even charge me for the time. They got my loyalty for life. I’ve owned many BMWs and this is my first Porsche, and I find they are knowledgeable, professional, and fair. I very rarely write reviews, except when there is terrible service. I feel the duty to let everyone know! Ya know?! This isn’t the case here, these guys are the real deal, and if you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic, go see J&F, and tell them Haywood sent ya!

Very professional and thorough. I brought my 2016 BMW X6 in for new front brakes. Ended up being the rear brakes. As always they did a thorough analysis by liking at the brakes. Informed me that I had some time before the front brakes were due. Charlie is always friendly and this time Skylar was happy to take me to Shirlington while I waited. They were right on time, less than 3 hours. I really don’t know why anyone whose car is past warranty would take it to the dealer. I have really appreciated the work they do, even during the pandemic when I am sure it was hard to stay open. I truly believe doing business here has made me enjoy my X6 even more. Highly recommend to others.

Excellent customer service. Spent lots of time explaining and counseling on needed repairs. Would return in a heartbeat.
